agility is cool

Mom has been working on my recalls.  I love the treats.  She is happy.  I am happy.

We did more agility work on the jumps.  Those are fun.  I got to do two in a row.  Mom introduced me to the weave poles.  Those are fun too.    We tried some catch.  I don't like the hard street hockey balls.  Mom said we would try small tennis balls in the morning.  Those were way to hard.  Hopefully, the tennis balls will be softer. 

Well, I am going to work on getting mom to snuggle now.  She works way to much.

The pack and I went for a walk this morning.  It was cool walking with the other dogs, Usono, Sadie, Innis and Jasper.  Mom and a friend were on the walk.  Lots of things to see and smell.  Sadie kept wanting to go down every driveway.  I don't see what the attraction is.  There is plenty of stuff to check out on the side of the road. 

Finally, I destroyed the rest of the MSM pills.  I killed the bottle a week ago.  Mom left the storage container with the pills on the counter.  ha ha.  I got the rest of them.  There is a nice pile of powder on the living room floor.   I just like cracking them open.  The contents taste icky. 

chickens.............

well.....I had fun last night, but ended up in the dog house.   Mom didn't notice a chicken had gotten out of the pen last night.   I had a good chase and grabbed some feathers.  Mom caught me.  Darn.   She put me in the house and checked out the chicken.  She told me I only got feathers, but I am not to do that again.  I told her I would try, but it was really fun.


This morning she was right by the gate leading to the chickens.  crap she is on to me.  I behaved and turned away from the gate.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.  Mom got really sick after the end of march flyball tournament.  I had to make sure she was resting and entertained.  It took a few weeks.  Then, we caught up on things around the farm and her business. 

On Sunday, I went to observe my first agility trial.  I got to meet lots of new people and dogs.  Mom let me try the practice jump.  This is cool.  I told her I want to be trained now.  She explained I could only do somethings due to my age and growth plates not closed yet.  what the heck are growth plates? 

We did work on my sits/down while watching others do agility.  Mostly, I got to nap in the crating area and go for small walks.  She was running Innis and Jasper and they were back to back in rings.  It was funny watching her run about. 

Today, we got to run in the back horse paddock while she did some chores.  Abbey was in front paddock.  Abbey pooped.  I was so tempted by the smell of fresh horse poop.  Oh that was tasty.  mom was pissed.  She explained it was not safe for me to go in there.  I tried to convince her Abbey could care less and I would be ok.  It did not work. 

She said I could do some agility training tomorrow.  wahooo.......
