Good Day

Wow what a week already.

Sunday I got to meet new dogs and people at Petco.  I was there for my rabies booster shot.  I got to make new dog and people friends in line.  I did get tired and ended up in mom's arms trying to stay away.  Vet tech was awesome.  I gave her lots of kisses.  The vet was really nice too.  Despite sticking me with needles.  Mom got me micro-chipped too.  Mom bought me a cool toy, which Jasper has taken over.  At least I got to play with a bit on the way home.  I took a big nap on the way home.  Once home, I got the third degree sniff over from everyone.  Gee.....I only went to the store.  Sadie licked my boo boos from the shots.  She is taking such great care of me.  Mom checked them too.

Monday and Tuesday was typical.  We get up potty, run around, try to sneak horse poop snacks, eat breakfast, potty, play, nap, potty, run around, nap in crate (mom is at work), potty, run around, play, nap, play, dinner, potty, play, nap, play, potty, run around, bedtime.

I have worn down Sadie.  She will play with me.  But I have to deal with her licking me all over.  But she will play with me.  I am starting to wear down Jasper on sharing couch space closer.  Hey, just Jack Russells have to stick together.

Well......time for breakfast and running around.

3/19/2011 Disc Dog Workshop

I had a blast yesterday.  I got to go to a disc dog seminar.  Kim worked Jasper and Innis.  I came for "socialization".  That's what Kim said it was.  I got to come out and check out Brookwood Pet Resort grounds and sit on Kim's lap during parts of the seminar.   I got to give kisses to Jess and Deb.  I am not sure what the dog and person was doing out on the floor.  Parts of it were interesting to watch.  But I really wanted the crackers and coffee on the table behind Kim.  She wouldn't let me have any of it.  Bummer.

At one point, I got to go into the back field and play with a few dogs.  That was cool and little scary.  But I got to see a few dogs I met before and make some new friends. 

Once, we got back home.  Mom tried to get me to play with a disc.  I am not sure about that.  I rather eat her fingers.  They are more tasty.  We played with a soft toy after that.  That was fun.  I am not sure about this tugging thing.  It was cool to see the cats, Moppet and Oreo.  I tried to get Sadie to play with me some more.  It didn't work.  Bummer.  Hum.....wonder what is in the waste basket......

Welcome to my blog.  My name is Rascal.  I am a 18 week old Jack Russell Terrier.  I was born on 10/22/2010 in New Hamsphire.  Kim, my new mom, picked me up on 3/3/2011.  She brought me home to a house with 4 other dogs, 2 cats and a bunch of other animals outside.  I am not sure what they are yet. 

This will be a blog about my adventures in my new life with Kim and her farm.  Well, gotta go.  Kim just called me.
